All my inspections live up to the InterNACHI Standards of Practice, which means I inspect all of the following whenever they are visible and accessible:

You’ll receive a full report of your inspection with detailed descriptions and photos of any defects I find. I’ll also take the time to explain the severity of the problems I encounter and give you my honest opinion of whether these problems are fixable.
I want you to have all the information you need to decide if this is a house worth investing in, which means you need to know what any fixes might cost. While I’ll always be willing to provide a ballpark figure for any fix, you’ll want to have a real quote before you decide to sign on the dotted line. I’ll always be glad to refer you directly to one of the many reputable contractors I have worked with previously so that you can easily get a quote to back up my assessment.
There are few properties out there with absolutely nothing wrong with them. What you need to know is exactly what problems exist, how big they are, whether they need fixing immediately, and how much they will cost.
